A New Beth Myrian in Boca Raton in Florida

The Beth Myriam in Boca Raton originated in May 2019 by Isabel Santos, who began buying food and feeding the poor and needy in the streets. She had just started reading the True Life in God Messages a month before her outreach. She conceptualized this mission while going through her normal route, traversing through the city. She noticed the people sitting on the street. They were homeless people living near a shelter. There wasn’t enough room for them in the shelter, so they would sit on the streets and at night they would sleep under very poor conditions at the shelter’s front yard.  Isabel began serving them coffee and donuts, but soon advanced to cooking them food, bringing it to them on the streets. At the beginning of this endeavor, she was serving 20-25 hungry, very grateful souls. She found a volunteer to help with the cooking, and together they began to serve chicken thighs, green beans, potatoes, salad, strawberries, watermelon and cold bottled water. Now, at the beginning of the year 2020, they are cooking and serving 40-60 hungry people, 1-2 times per week, and intend to do it all year around. They have also supplied them with  ponchos to protect them from the rain and the damp floor outside the shelters. Additionally, they give the homeless Holy Rosaries; some of the people are now praying the Rosary.  In extension to her mission in Florida, Isabel has also helped a priest, Santos, in Mozambique to bay a water pump. Now, through this effort, the priest and the people in that community have enough water to drink and to build homes.

Glory be to God.
