This Beth Myriam was opened in 2006, distributing soup and bread in the middle of a street. After that, the coordinators rented a room to feed the people.  In 2009,   Vassula made an appeal so a house could be built; it opened its doors in October 2010. The eight volunteers serve 250 people soup or staple foods on Saturdays and on holidays. They also donate food baskets to 150 families, along with second-hand clothes, footwear and furniture. They celebrate special days like children’s day, Easter and Christmas by providing the children food and presents. The children are able to go to Holy Mass and receive catechism at the BM.
